Verizon Mobile & Web Design for the
Network Performance
Verizon constantly measures the latency (speed) of core areas of our network using data collected by pings via Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP).1 These measurements should not be used to define the Network Latency Service Level standard found in your service level agreement (SLA). I was asked to redesign both the mobile and web design for this aspect of the Verizon application.
New Design and Updates
The original UI for the Web and mobile version of the Latency statistics needed to be redesigned completely from start to finish. I created a map and interactive search for node to node to make finding statistics and mapping more intuitive.
Final Design
Why network latency?
As a result of this network latency, I re-design a way in which to filter latency data effectively by being able to filter and find up to date statistic information on all the continents in which Verizon offers service.
